Freedom Virginia Congratulates 16 Endorsed Primary Winners

Advocacy Organization Celebrates Victories for Champions of Economic Freedom 

RICHMOND, Va. — Freedom Virginia, a 501(c)4 organization committed to building a Commonwealth where all Virginia families have the freedom to thrive, today congratulated endorsed candidates on winning their primary elections. FreedomVirginia’s candidates won 16 of 20 called races with one race outstanding.

Freedom Virginia congratulates Sen. Creigh Deeds (SD-11), Fmr. Del. Lashrecse Aird (SD-13), Sen. Lamont Bagby (SD-14), Russet Perry (SD-31), Del. Suhas Subramanyam (SD-32), Fmr. Del. Jennifer Carroll Foy (SD-33), Sen. Barbara Favola (SD-40), Laura Jane Cohen (HD-15), Kannan Srinivasan (HD-26), Katrina E Callsen (HD-54), Amy Laufer (HD-55), Rae Cousins (HD-79), Destiny LeVere Bolling (HD-80), Del. Delores McQuinn (HD-81), Fmr. Del. Nadarius Clark (HD-84) and Fmr. Del. Alex Askew (HD-95).

Rhena Hicks, executive director of Freedom Virginia released the following statement:

These leaders have all shown they will be a powerful voice in standing up to special interests and fighting for a more affordable Virginia for everyone. We know they will uphold Freedom Virginia’s values of advancing economic freedomthrough policies like establishing a higher minimum wage, lowering prescription drug and energy costs, creating a fair tax code and increasing access to paid sick leave.”
