Freedom Virginia is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Campaign Coordinator to support a major progressive revenue advocacy effort in partnership with the Virginia Education Association and allied organizations.
This position will play a central role in building educator and stakeholder engagement around revenue policies that can sustainably invest in public education and support Virginia families. The Campaign Coordinator will help organize educators and community stakeholders, coordinate advocacy efforts, develop training and campaign materials, support communications and storytelling, and strengthen collaboration among coalition partners across the Commonwealth.
The work may include advocacy related to proposals such as asking the wealthiest Virginians to pay more in taxes to better fund public education and other public priorities, while supporting a broader progressive revenue agenda shaped in partnership with coalition organizations.
This is a grant-funded position working in a highly collaborative partnership structure. The role will operate in close coordination and alignment with the Virginia Education Association’s Government Relations and Research team and other organizations engaged in revenue advocacy across Virginia.
