Freedom Virginia Endorses JJ Singh in the Race for House of Delegates District 26

Singh Will Fight to Make Sure Hardworking Virginians Can Get Ahead

RICHMOND, Va. — Freedom Virginia, a nonpartisan 501(c)4 organization committed to building a Commonwealth where all Virginia families have the freedom to thrive, today announced its endorsement of JJ Singh for the January 7 special election to replace Delegate Kannan Srinivasan in the Virginia House of Delegates 26th District.

“JJ Singh is dedicated to fighting for hardworking Virginians, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to succeed,” said Rhena Hicks, co-Executive Director of Freedom Virginia. “We are confident he will work tirelessly to reduce the costs of child care, housing, and tolls. As a father of two young children, JJ understands the challenges families face today and is committed to building a fairer Virginia economy where the middle class can truly thrive.”

“JJ Singh is committed to creating a more fair and affordable Virginia,” said Ryan O’Toole, Freedom Virginia co-Executive Director. “He walks the walk and understands that hardworking people are the engine of the economy, not big corporations. His background in economic work with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget, and his current seat on the Loudoun County Economic Development Advisory Committee will inform his work in the House of Delegates. He will work to make Virginia’s higher education system more affordable, increase the housing supply, and lower the cost of medicine. We are excited to work with JJ to ensure hardworking Virginians can get ahead.”

Early voting started on Wednesday, December 11. The last day to vote early in-person is Saturday, January 4. Election day is Tuesday, January 7.
