The Problem
Virginians are suffering from inflation, especially middle-class families; and they need immediate relief from the rising costs that cause strain and anxiety. This includes electric bills, a regressive tax system that means you pay more of your income the less you make, and debt from medical bills or higher education.
The Solution
Elected officials need to prioritize middle-class families over corporate interests so that Virginia families can achieve the economic opportunity they deserve – paying their bills, keeping a good job, and saving enough to be able to retire comfortably. Too often, our elected officials in Richmond focus on the interests of Virginia’s dominant corporate interests. Freedom Virginia will continue to organize and elevate the stories of economically insecure Virginians so that all families can experience real freedom.
